In a landmark academic collaboration, Dr Randhir Singh of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences (GADVASU) was invited to Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur to share his expertise in veterinary nephrology and extracorporeal therapies.

During this visit, Dr Singh played a pivotal role in operationalising the newly established veterinary hemodialysis unit at Palampur, one of the first of its kind in the state. He conducted extensive hands-on demonstrations and training sessions, showcasing the practical aspects of dialysis therapy in dogs for clinicians, scholars and students. His sessions enabled participants to gain valuable exposure to intricacies of renal replacement therapies. — TNS
