The couple had two sons and a daughter. During marriage, a motorcycle and Rs 2 lakh cash were given as dowry to her in-laws. Even after marriage, the suspects continued to demand dowry. Recently, Rs 50,000 was given to his son-in-law but his hunger for dowry did not end even after years of marriage. His mother Khairon Nisha had also been torturing the victim for dowry.

A few days ago, the victim’s husband beaten up the woman as her in-laws were demanding more money. On July 13, she died by suicide by jumping from the rooftop of her in-laws’ house. She was taken to the CMCH where doctors declared her dead.
