The Punjab Chapter of the Indian Society of Radiographers and Technologists (ISRT) celebrated World Radiography Day recently during which the critical role of radiographers in healthcare was discussed.

Vinod Chauhan, Chairperson of the Himachal Pradesh State Allied Health Council, was the chief guest for the occasion.

Election of the new team for the Punjab Chapter was held during the meeting. Joy Anzer Hamid from Christian Medical College and Hospital was elected president; Narender Sharma from Tagore Hospital and Heart Care Centre, Jalandhar, was elected secretary; Sam Cherian from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital as treasurer, and Manjinder Kaur Dhanoa from CMCH and Shiby Mathew from DMCH as vice-president.
