A youth died after being hit on the head with a brick.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi, a resident of Mohalla Baba Mukand Singh Nagar, Daba Road.

Ravi's brother Rahul Kumar said on June 2, they both were heading home, when Sandeep and Roshan met them. He said they asked Ravi to sort out the differences with Karan Chauhan and Ram Sahni, alias Chotu.

He said Ravi went to Karan's house and the latter again got into an argument with his brother. Rahul said Karan and Ram hit a brick on the head of his brother in a fit of rage.

He said his brother was referred to a hospital in Chandigarh, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigating Officer Inspector Kulwant Kaur said after registering a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder, raids were being conducted to arrest the accused.
