The festival of Teej was celebrated at Government College for Girls, Ludhiana. Dr Gurpreet Kaur, wife of the Chief Minister, was the guest of honour. She was warmly received by the students. On being asked if she would join politics, Dr Kaur said for the time being, it was not on cards. She said girls were moving forward and achieving greater heights like boys and traditional festivals like Teej should be celebrated with traditional fervour. Various stalls offering eatables and other products were set up on the occasion.
