The PM also dedicated to the nation the Propylene Derivative Petrochemical Project of the BPCL. The Rs 6,000 crore complex will produce acrylate, acrylic acid and oxo-alcohol, which are at present predominantly imported. He also dedicated to the nation two Ro-Ro vessels at Willingdon Islands, Cochin. MV Adi Shankara and MV CV Raman will have the capacity to carry six 20-ft trucks, three 20-ft trailer trucks, three 40-ft trailer trucks and 30 passengers each. The service will benefit trade by bringing down the transport cost and reduce transit time. — TNS
