Discus thrower Vinod Kumar (41) clinched a bronze medal in the men’s F52 event with an Asian record

The BSF man, whose father fought in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, produced the best throw of 19.91m to finish third

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
