New Delhi: An Afghan national has been arrested by customs officials for trying to smuggle into the country heroin worth Rs 2.4 crore at Delhi international airport, according to an official statement issued on Thursday. The accused was intercepted after his arrival from Kabul on Tuesday. PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
