Cancer institute to shift patients

New Delhi: To prevent the spread of Covid, the Delhi State Cancer Institute will shift its patients to private hospitals. Dr BL Sherwal, Director of the institute, said, “The institute was never treating patients of the virus. A doctor had come in contact with an infected person following which we had collected samples of around 50 doctors. Of these, eight tested positive for Covid.” TNS

126 Tablighi men identified

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Police have identified 126 persons who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Delhi. Director General of Police Shivanand Jha said one more Tablighi attendee, a resident of Bodeli in Chhota-Udepur district, reported Covid positive, taking the toll of the Tablighi attendees from the state having tested positive to two.
