Noted film maker Anurag Kashyap, who in the past has had many run-ins with the Modi government, is finding himself at the receiving end yet again over his tweet regarding the extension of lockdown by the Union Home Ministry.

Just a few days after the lockdown extension was ordered, the filmmaker tweeted.

“Lockdowns will keep going on.. they’re not going to stop. The government has no plan, no strategy and has no money either. It’s time for all parties, economists, scientists, corporates to come together, And find a workable solution. Initiative has to come from the PM himself,” his tweet read.

But some of his fans on twitter haven’t taken the criticism of the government well.
