The Congress on Thursday released a second list of 49 candidates for the upcoming Bihar elections, and fielded actor politician Shatrughan Sinha’s son Lov Sinha from Bankipur assembly seat and former NDA convener Sharad Yadav’s daughter Subhashini from Bihariganj.

The list also features former LJP leader Kali Pandey who joined the Congress yesterday.

Pandey has been fielded from Kuchaikote. Praveen Kushwaha has been named a candidate from Patna Saheb, a seat Lov Sinha was eyeing.

Subhashini Yadav had also joined the Congress yesterday and said she wanted to carry forward her father’s political legacy.

Bihariganj is in Madhepura Lok Sabha segment which Sharad Yadav represented in Lok Sabha for many years.
