Amritsar: As many as 41 Pakistani nationals, who were stuck in India following the closure of border due to Covid-19 outbreak, returned via the Attari border on Thursday. The Centre is facilitating the repatriation of 180 Pakistani citizens stranded in different parts of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.TNS

2 women ‘assault’ councillor

Mohali: The police have arrested two women for allegedly assaulting and threatening a Municipal councillor for allegedly showing biased approach in distributing ration to them. The suspects have been identified as Raj Kumari and Saroj, both residents of Phase XI, Mohali.TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
