The CBI has filed a charge-sheet against retired Allahabad High Court Judge SN Shukla in a corruption case for allegedly favouring a private medical college in his orders. It had booked Justice Shukla with other accused in December 2019 under Section 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act. — PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
