The SC’s intervention in the Covid-19 matter has drawn appreciation from Lidwina Joseph, a Class 5 student from Kerala, who wrote to Chief Justice of India NV Ramana for saving lives during the pandemic.

A student of Kendriya Vidyalaya at Thrissur, Joseph also sent a an illustration showing a judge using his gavel to deliver a blow on the head of Covid.

The CJI responded by sending her best wishes for her “beautiful letter” and “heart-warming illustration of a judge at work” in her drawing. — TNS
