Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Saturday trained her guns on the Congress, saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi will become more powerful as the grand old party is not serious about politics, and alleged that the country is suffering because that party does not take decisions.

Apparently targeting the BJP-led Central government, she said she would not tolerate Delhi’s “dadagiri” (bullying) any more. Addressing mediapersons on the last day of her three-day visit to the coastal state, Banerjee, when asked about whether she is in the race for the PM’s post in the next General Election, said she preferred to be an “LIP – less important person” and a street fighter. — TNS
