Congress spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi dies after heart attack

New Delhi, August 12
Congress spokesperson and party’s Uttar Pradesh leader Rajeev Tyagi died of cardiac arrest right after participating in a television debate on Wednesday.
Tyagi was at his home when he had a massive cardiac arrest and was rushed to a local hospital in Ghaziabad where he could not be revived.
“Rajiv Tyagi was an ideological warrior. His sudden death is a personal loss and an irreparable loss for all of us,” AICC General Secretary UP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said today in a tweet posting her picture with Tyagi.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also tweeted his condolences to the family of Tyagi saying “Congress has lost a lion today. We will forever remember Rajeev Tyagi’s love for Congress and his struggle for its ideology.”
Tyagi was 52 years old.
