Coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh cross 1 lakh-mark

The total number of coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh crossed the one lakh mark as the state recorded 2,948 fresh cases on Tuesday, an official statement said.

A total of 41 fatalities were recorded in the state in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll due to the disease to 1,817. Agencies

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
