As India battles Covid, relief from foreign countries continues to pour in. “The global community has extended a helping hand to India in battling the pandemic,” said the government.

A total of 6,738 oxygen concentrators, 3,856 oxygen cylinders, 16 oxygen generation plants, 4,668 ventilators and three lakh Remdesivir vials have been delivered by various countries since April 27.

The relief material received on May 8 from Canada, Thailand, Austria, Czech Republic, Israel, USA, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands and the Indian community in Thailand includes oxygen concentrators (2,404), Remdesivir (25,000), ventilators (218) and testing kits (6,92,208).
