Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath isolated himself on Tuesday after some officials he works with tested positive.

Adityanath announced in a tweet that he was isolating himself.

“Some officials in my office have been infected with the coronavirus. These officers have been in touch with me, so as I precaution I’ve isolated myself and will start doing my work virtually,” his tweet said.

The chief minister took his first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Lucknow Civil Hospital on April 5.
