New Delhi: The Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced on Friday that it has concluded a Rs 1, 349-crore contract with Mahindra Defence Systems Limited for procurement of specialised equipment to tackle enemy submarines. Called the Integrated Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Defence Suites (IADS), the equipment will be installed on 14 warships. TNS

New Delhi: The Canada India Foundation (India chapter) on Friday said it would “adopt” 75 children, who have lost both their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
