New Delhi: Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday told the Lok Sabha that an elevated expressway was being constructed between Delhi and Dehradun, capital of Uttarakhand, with which the travel time between the two cities would reduce to around 3.15 hours. Currently, it takes more than five hours to cover the distance. Gadkari said the construction work on the ‘green’ elevated highway would begin in June 2021. TNS
