The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) today started the digitisation of its rich repository of estampages housed at its epigraphy division in Mysore, a move that will enable access of such rare material to historians and researchers. The digitisation process was formally inaugurated by V Vidyavathi, Director General of the Archaeological Survey of India, in Mysore.
