Seen as a possible fallout of the political slugfest between the BJP and the TMC, the Union government on Friday issued an order recalling Chief Secretary of West Bengal Alapan Bandyopadhyay to Centre and asked him to report to the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) here by 10 am on May 31, 2021.
