Special Judge Chander Jit Singh of the Patiala House Court approved the ED’s request for custody and directed that Faizy be presented before the court on Monday after the completion of his remand period.

According to the ED, SDPI has been a recipient of proceeds of crime generated by the PFI, estimated at Rs 4.07 Crore.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
