New Delhi: Fabindia has withdrew its advertisement “Jashn-e-Riwaaz” showcasing a new festive line ahead of Diwali after a backlash from BJP leaders and a section of consumers over the use of Urdu to describe a Hindu festival. The company added a Diwali collection “Jhilmil si Diwali” was on the way. TNS

Zomato under fire as agent insists on Hindi

Chennai: Zomato on Tuesday apologised to a person, who alleged he was denied refund by its customer care agent for not knowing Hindi and announced terminating the services of the employee. However, the company founder later announced reinstating the sacked agent. PTI
