Himachal’s Nishad Kumar (21) clinched a silver medal in men’s high jump by clearing 2.06m, an Asian record

Vinod Kumar (41) won a bronze medal in men’s F52 discus throw event with an Asian record of 19.91m

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
