Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today said the query raised by Serum Institute’s CEO Adar Poonawala was genuine and added that it should have been answered in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann ki Baat programme today.

“The question is genuine but how long will India continue to wait for an answer from the government. If only the answer to Covid vaccine access strategy had come in PM’s Mann ki Baat today,” Rahul tweeted a day after Poonawala asked the PMO on twitter whether the Centre had Rs 88,000 crore ready over the next year to procure and distribute a potential Covid-19 vaccine to all Indians.
