Chandigarh: With Haryana differing from the Centre over its tweaked guidelines on discharge of mild, very mild and pre-symptomatic Covid cases without testing, the focus has now shifted to various tests being conducted to diagnose the virus. Haryana has so far conducted over 65,000 tests using real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction or RT-PCR technique ever since the Covid outbreak. Back page

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
