If agri laws favour farmers, why are they angry: Rahul
New Delhi, November 30
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today urged people to support the ongoing farmers’ agitation asking them and party workers to help farmers with food and other support.
“If farm laws favour farmers, why are they angry,” Gandhi asked the PM, leading the party’s online speak-up for farmers campaign which was joined by senior leaders Anand Sharma, Randeep Surjewala, Kumari Selja, Digvijay Singh and Priyanka Vadra.
“The question is why the farmer is on the roads today. Why has he walked thousands of kilometres to Delhi? Why is he disrupting traffic? PM Narendra Modi says the three farm laws are in the favour of farmers. If so, why is the farmer angry? ,” Gandhi said. — TNS
