IFFCO chairman Balvinder Singh Nakai passes away
New Delhi: IFFCO’s chairman Balvinder Singh Nakai passed away on Monday. He was 87. Nakai was an eminent farmer – cooperator, and was involved in providing strength to the Indian cooperative movement for the past three decades. “Saddened to learn about the passing away of a veteran co-operator and the Chairman IFFCO, Sardar Balvinder Singh Nakai Ji,” Cooperation Minister Amit Shah tweeted. Rail electrification up to Guwahati
New Delhi: The Northeast Frontier Railway has completed the electrification of the total 649 route km/1,294 tonne km of High-Density Network from Katihar to Guwahat. With this, the north-eastern city will now be connected to the major cities of the country. TNS
