External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said the enforced foster care for an Indian infant in Germany who was taken away from her parents 15 months ago in September last year is “a matter of concern” and asserted that it is her right to be in her linguistic, religious, cultural and social environment.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
