The Taliban leadership bilaterally met a diplomat from India in Moscow where both sides attended a multi-nation conference on Afghanistan.

The Taliban delegation and Indian diplomat J P Singh discussed enhancing diplomatic and political ties, said Taliban spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid.

Singh had also met some members of the Taliban leadership in Doha after its takeover of Kabul on August 15.Mujahid said India had agreed to provide humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
