“It is unbelievable that Kumar wasn’t involved in any scam,” Paswan said, an observation that earned criticism from several BJP leaders.

Just because he is the Chief Minister he won’t go to jail? Corruption is taking place right under his nose. We will get the Saat Nishchay scheme probed. —Chirag Paswan, LJP President

In retaliation, the Chief Minister said some people were “acting at the behest of their advisers” and attacking him, referring to Prashant Kishor.

“We are concerned about nepotism,” an apparent reference to the LJP chief and JD-U’s Tejashwi Yadav.

“Those who do not have any knowledge or experience are speaking against me,” Nitish Kumar said. — TNS
