Perks of state ex-CMs go

New Delhi: Former J&K CMs have lost all perks after the Centre repealed or amended 138 legislations of the erstwhile state. Section 3-C of the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature Members’ Pension Act giving former state CMs various privileges has been omitted. They will no longer be entitled to rent-free furnished accommodation, Rs35,000 per annum limit for furnishing of accommodation, free phone calls up to Rs48,000 per annum, free power up to Rs1,500 per month, car, petrol, medical facilities, driver and personal assistant..
