New Delhi: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MP Prince Raj has been booked on rape charges by the Delhi Police while the lawmaker moved a court here on Tuesday for anticipatory bail alleging that he had been blackmailed by the complainant. Prince filed an anticipatory bail application which is likely to come up for hearing before Special Judge MK Nagpal on Thursday. An LJP spokesperson claimed the allegations against the MP were a “political conspiracy” to malign him”. PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
