West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is on a visit to Mumbai, met Aaditya Thackeray, son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, on Tuesday. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut was also present in the meeting. Talking to mediapersons in Mumbai, Mamata said Uddhav, who is convalescing after a surgery, has been advised by his doctors not to meet any one.

Earlier, Mamata visited the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai and offered puja there. She also visited the Police Memorial and paid her tribute to Tukaram Omble, killed by terrorist during the 26/11 attack.

The TMC supremo, who wants the TMC to replace the Congress as spearhead of the anti-BJP opposition, is also slated to meet NCP leader Sharad Pawar in Mumbai.
