Guwahati: Football legend Diego Maradona’s watch, allegedly stolen in Dubai, was found in Assam’s Sivasagar district on Saturday, following which a person was arrested, the police said. PTI

India sends medical supplies to Afghanistan

New Delhi: The government has sent humanitarian assistance, comprising medical supplies, to Afghanistan on the return flight that had, on Friday, brought 10 Indians and 94 Afghans. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
