Kolkata: The Ministry if Home Affairs (MHA) has convened a meeting under MoS G Kishan Reddy to discuss the Gorkhaland issue. This could upset the Mamata Banerjee government. The meet is proposed to be held in Delhi on October 7. The West Bengal Home Secretary, Darjeeling District Magistrate, Principal Secretary of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration and the president of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha have been invited. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
