Prime Minister Narendra Modi will review the alarming Covid surge with Governors and Lieutenant-Governors tomorrow. This will be close on the heels of the PM’s review meeting with the CMs.

Sources said the PM would hold a virtual meeting with the Governors and Lieutenant-Governors of all states and UTs on April 14 to discuss the rising cases in the country. April 14 is also the last day of the ongoing ‘Tika Utsav’ called by the PM to expand the vaccination drive. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
