Industrialist Anand Mahindra tweeted a heartwarming story about a man who refused to let his disability dictate his life.

A video he tweeted shows a man who, despite being a quadruple amputee, was seen driving a modified vehicle and answering a passerby’s questions. The video took off immediately.

“Scooty ka engine hai (it has the engine of a scooty),” he says of his modified vehicle that he’s been driving for five years. At the passerby’s request, he also shows how he manoeuvers the vehicle.

“I have a wife, two young children, and an aging father… that’s why I go out to earn,” the video shows the amputee as saying.

Mahindra said in his tweet “Received this on my timeline today. Don’t know how old it is or where it’s from, but I’m awestruck by this gentleman who’s not just faced his disabilities but is GRATEFUL for what he has.”

He also tagged a colleague Ram and Mahindra Logistics and asked : “Ram, can @Mahindralog_MLL make him a Business Associate for last mile delivery?”
