Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday tested positive for COVID and isolated himself on medical advice.

Yadav, 80, the founder patron of Samajwadi Party, shared his COVID positive status through the party’s official twitter handle.

He has been admitted to Medanta in Gurugram for COVID19 management, son Akhilesh Yadav said in a tweet.
