The NIA today said it had filed a chargesheet against seven members of the outlawed ULFA for their involvement in killing a police officer in Tinsukia district of Assam.

A spokesperson of the agency said three of them had been arrested and a hunt was on for the four others.

“Officer-in-charge of Bordumsa police station, Sub-Inspector Bhaskar Kalita was killed and his service rifle (AK-47) looted when his party was attacked by a group of United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) militants at Kujupathar village on May 4, 2018,” said the spokesperson.
