New Delhi, June 8

Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday said the “bogus bashing brigade” was trying to raise bogey of “Islamophobia, intolerance, safety of minorities” to defame India and disturb the fabric of its communal harmony and unity as it was unable to “digest the positive atmosphere and constructive mood in the country”.

While BJP is committed to “honour” all Indians, some people are conspiring to create “horror”, Naqvi said while addressing the UP BJP Minority Morcha workers.

Terming BJP an “inclusive family working for the prosperity of all with commitment to nationalism”, Naqvi said some political parties were confined to a particular family frame.

“The BJP is all-embracing family which is moving forward with ethos of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ and commitment to ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’,” he said.

Naqvi said inclusive empowerment had been “rashtraniti” and not “rajniti” for the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“The Modi government has been working with commitment to happiness and prosperity of every needy. This has ensured that each and every section of society, including minorities, have become equal partners in prosperity, dignity and empowerment. All sections of society are moving forward on the path of inclusive empowerment without any discrimination,” he said while enumerating various programmes run by the government for minorities.
