The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested four persons and seized 30 lakh doses of psychotropic drugs, 70,000 codeine-based cough syrups and 14.8 kg amphetamine drug from their possession.

The module used the darknet to ship consignments abroad. It would conceal psychotropic drugs in herbal supplement packages, the agency said. The accused would get the orders through darknet market host and make deliveries through dedicated shippers. Most of the consignments were bound for the USA, UK and a few other countries. — TNS
