New Delhi: Activist Nikita Jacob on Monday moved a Delhi court seeking anticipatory bail in the sedition case slapped on her. She along with Disha Ravi is accused of allegedly being involved in sharing on social media a “toolkit” related to the farmers’ protest. Jacob’s application is likely to come up for hearing on Tuesday before Additional Sessions Judge Dharmender Rana. — PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
