“India’s national assets valued at Rs 6 lakh crore and created over the past 67 years are sought to be squandered away through the project,” he told the media in Chennai today.

The Congress leader said the Central Government’s announcement sought to legitimise favours to the favourite few at the cost of public interest and in breach of the government’s fiduciary obligations. — TNS
