The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) today issued an order extending suspension of scheduled international passenger flights till February 28 in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. Such flights have been suspended in India since March 23, 2020.

The restriction would not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights approved by the DGCA.

The DGCA said the special passenger flights operating between India and about 40 countries since July 2020 under air bubble arrangements would continue.
