Escalating further their attack against former Chief Justice of India and Rajya Sabha member Justice Ranjan Gagoi, more opposition members submitted privilege notices against him to Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu.

Sources in the Opposition camp said more parties joined the chorus against Justice Gagoi, as NCP’s Vandana Chavan and Dr Fauzia Khan along with CPI’s Binow Viswam submitted privilege notices against him.

Earlier, the TMC, Congress, SP, CPIM, Shiv Sena and IUML MPs had submitted multiple privilege notices against the RS MP for his recent comments in a television interview.
