Prime Minister Narendra Modi will invite the Indian Olympic contingent as special guests to the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort on August 15.

Top government sources said the PM would later host the contingent members at his Lok Kalyan Marg residence.

The PM had earlier interacted with the contingent members before they had left for the Tokyo Olympics.
