Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency, probing the police-militant nexus in Kashmir, on Sunday carried out fresh raids in south Kashmir’s Shopian district in connection with the arrest of tainted DSP Davinder Singh along with Hizbul Mujahideen militants last month. The NIA team conducted raids at the residence of BJP sarpanch Tariq Mir in Maldera village of Shopian and residences of several active militants.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
